The Story of Willie & Wynton on Blue Note Hour this Friday

Tune in at 6pm ET this Friday, April 15th, to Sirius XM’s Real Jazz Channel (Channels 72/70) to hear Bruce Lundvall, President Emeritus of Blue Note Records, tell the story of Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis and how they came together with Norah Jones to perform at Jazz at Lincoln Center in honor of Ray Charles. The live album from their performance, Here We Go Again, released just two weeks ago, and features some of the legend’s most loved hits: “Unchain My Heart,” “Hallelujah I Love Her So,” “Hit the Road Jack,” and “Making Whoopee.”

In the meantime, since we have to wait ’til Friday to hear the story, I’ll leave you with this trailer from the 2009 performance. Enjoy.

Psst: Barnes and Noble has an exclusive version of the new album with three bonus tracks!
